It was easy to do. It was the leftovers from cutting out the other side of the tailgate!

A little more progress. The bulk of the work is done now. Time to tackle the front end.

For your question on were to pick up Sintra.. No clue, sorry.
Mine was free. A place I worked at covered a whole room in it with their product and logos (huge Signs)...one time only.
I got to keep a lot of the smaller 2 foot x 4 foot panels.
PM me your address... I'll hook ya up with some.

My reward will be to watch a real master craftsmen create from it.

Thanks for offer, I have a source though!Same place I get my large sheets of styrene. They offer the PVC in a few colors as well.

Ok, so, I'm a flip-flopper. I needed a longer chassis for this 13" wheelbased monstrosity. Then I remembered I had a GCM equipped Ascender chassis taking up space in the closet. As a bonus the rails are extendable. Maybe it wasn't such an awful design after all.

One thing was missing. Leaf springs. This is 1975 after all. Digging in the parts bin I found some RC4WD shackles, U bolts for a Toyota axle, Tamiya springs and SSD axles.

I had to bend the rails out to meet the leaf springs but that's cool. Just waiting on some spacers from Team KNK so I can reattach the transmission and cross members.

It would've been a mighty tall truck if I didn't go spring under.
