These were a set of prototype 12 spoke (from the gcm store) that I made years ago to try them out. I did some black anodize finish on these and then re-machined some parts to get this look. There's no more.
Thanks for the comments! It's really fun to drive also!

Here's Dana trying this FPV! hahaha!

We took this setup down to #ECSC2015 to have a 'look around' the campground and see what other reactions we could get from people in the booth! HAHA! The infamous IMTHATGUY took it for a round as well! I think his gulliver was chuffed!

I had no idea this pic was being taken! haha! I think the truck was around the back of the barn at the time.

Rob had a go at it among others, and did great! No carnage! haha!

I did move all the electronics from on top of the roof rack to the rear interior cargo area. Looks better that way.

You'll have to post a link or two to all the stuff needed for a similar setup Chris. I'm hooked!

    Hey, fellas and ladies!
Here's your info for the equipment I'm using. I'll add the CP antennas when I get them loaded also.
For now, it's working great with this stuff:

Main FPV kit, plug and play: https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...dproduct=28342
2 servo gimbal optional thingy: https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...dproduct=65161

Thanks for posting this Chris. What if a guy were to want head tracking?

I will say that the above mentioned Setup works plug and play out of the box, and works quite well actually. With the antenna upgrade below you're well on your way to 100% satisfaction.

But.. there's always room to grow, and so..

If you want Head tracking... you're kicking up the cash output a bunch, but this is what you'd be using:
Headtracking FPV bundle: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...OS_Camera.html and required RX battery: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arge_Lead.html

As said, both of these systems would benefit from decent CP antennas (circular polarized) instead of the linear lously included ones. No comparison to the video quality improvement with the CP antennas.
Both would also benefit from an upgraded CCD camera, instead of the CMOS 600 line camera that is included with both of these units. It works well, but there's a certain improvement in picture quality with a 700 line NTSC camera update like this one: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...era_NTSC_.html
Antenna Upgrade for amazing video in any case: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...RHCP_SMA_.html
