Default Knight Customs Sand Rail Conversion for Tamiya Wild One & FAV

Knight Customs Sand Rail conversion for the Tamiya Wild One and Fast Attack Vehicle now available for sale via Shapeways, Basic rail chassis starts at $120.57. Full conversion $222.13 (not including driver).

Click the link below to go to the store for more details or to place an order:
    https://www.shapeways.com/model/1844...&materialId=62

Convert a 1/10 RC Tamiya Wild One or Fast Attack Vehicle (FAV) kit into a classic Sand Rail.

The parts are a direct fit and are compatible with both the original Tamiya kits and the newer re-release models.

Please note: This is a scale model that needs a micro battery & receiver to achieved the results shown here.

The photos show a finished painted model that is the Mk1 prototype. The final parts you will receive are shown on the unpainted model and have a few small improvements over the original prototype. The Wild Willy driver figure is not included and is available directly from Tamiya.

Each kit is made to order. Once the order is placed it takes about 2 weeks to create before it is shipped.

For orders placed in Europe the kit is made in Holland, so no import tax if in the EU and 7 Euro shipping. For US orders the kit is made in NY and shipping is $6.50, or $15 next day delivery.

And here are some close ups of the peddle box and the finish of the frame as it comes from Shapeways. This build also shows the new scale front shock mounts (available soon) matched to the RC4WD 70mm scale shocks.

    Thanks.

I have also been busy creating a scale driver:

He is at the printers now and should come in full colour, I hope he turns out as good as my Sand Scorcher driver:
