    And a little more done today,







    Just need to make the Shock and Panhard bar mounts and I can move on to the front

    I haven't seen a unimog done with this much attention to the drivetrain. I'm sure this will be the best one built so far!

    I haven't seen one done like this either which was part of my reason for giving it a go.

    and as a thank you here is a small update

    I picked up the donor SCX on Sunday and have stripped it for the parts I need, basically the frame rails and shocks (for this build anyway, the axles and transmission will end up in the Wreckluse when I rebuild it)

    I also received the shell a mate donated to the project



    So now I can move forward again

    I have a set of PRO-10 1.9's and Rockcrushers coming, going to go deep dish, I may have to narrow the axles a bit more but until I get the wheels I am not sure how much clearance I have.

    Shell looks good and shiny still, it'll accept a good coat of paint on the outside!

    That it will, I don't think it ever got mounted on a chassis,it's had the bed chopped off already which is fine, so all I need to do is fill a few holes and chop the roof off and close off the back of the cab.

    Started on the cab modification tonight.

    removed the arches and roof and made a start on the back panel
