I've been on vacation so I haven't been watching but it looks like a very nice toy truck. I did prefer the two tone paint scheme in the top pictures... I just love blue masking tape, I think it's way underrated as a finish.

That tailgate linkage is sick... you should look into some sort of therapy.

Yesterday was father's day and I spent the whole day making a timber truss bridge. I will let you driver over it if you want.

Shame you have to hide the body work a little but that texture really adds to the look.
Bummer the big one's gone but you sound relieved!

You should try blue masking tape on toast. It's incredible. I went to therapy, they said I was too crazy. Better yet, can I drive off of the bridge?

It helps hide the imperfections and should add some durability. Same reason I did it to the real truck. I'm sad that it's gone, but my FJ is happy to get my full attention (and money) again. Expect some updates on the RC version in the near future.

Whole lot of ugly going on in this region.

    This is acceptable

    Nice carpet.
Are the emblems stickers or etched?
Interested now to see what's doing with the FJ

The trusses prevent one from driving off of it but you bring this turk and I'll let you crash off of it. It spans a revine in a new section... first leg of the camel trophy trail.... but I may call in the Marlboro trophy or better yet, Virginia Slim Trophy.

Wicked details... I'm in love with your tailgate.

P.S. Try adding a dab of Elmer's glue to your masking tape toast... It will knock your socks off... it does mine. Bon appetit.

The emblems are laser etched or something. Had MTHead on RCC make them. The FJ will be getting an Expedition One rear bumper to match the front.

I like the Virginia Slim Trophy idea. Or we could raise the stakes and make it the Virginia Slime Trophy. This truck aught to be ready to crash off bridges soon.

    What a busy day!
