    Thanks, guys!

I pushed hard yesterday and got her finished at 3am this morning.
Now I just have to find some time for pictures before the bashing begins.

I didn't have the heart to throw a clip in the front body-post so there's a little industrial velcro under the nose. This raises it slightly which actually levels the body as the chassis rides pitched forward.
I'm still getting to know this Tamiya Racing White; The hue depends entirely on the light shining/reflecting upon it.

I filled in the spacious interior (I think Tamiya drivers are 1:11 scale to fit both 1:10 and 1:12 cars) with a dash, a dense black foam seat and a firewall. Behind that I bent 2 steel tubes to fit up in the roll-cage like the real thing. The Cosworth engine frequently displays the FORD letters on the block hence the livery/collaboration with Walter Wolf Racing on the side of the car.

This photo taken facing the car 'straight on' is a decent representation of the average/neutral off-white that I was going for.

Under the artificial lights at night, you can really see the difference in hue.

The tachometer constantly blinks red intermittently from the Lipo alarm underneath.

I was hoping a light colour would show the very real race-grime/tire-clag.

Verdict: Probably the purest driving experience I've ever had with an RC!

I can see the dirt, you did good. Breathtaking shots Al. Is there a Classic F1 race coming up at Stanley Park or something? They look like they could be promotional pictures.
