    Default Pinzgauer 710K

    Hello,

While my Dingo, will still be a Dingo no matter how hard i try to disguise it I decided to build something new. As I'm more or less addicted to purpose build, No-nonsense vehicles I decided to go for a Pinzgauer 710K. I'll probably drive it on my SCX (will need a GCM motor mount), but perhaps I'll build it on another chassis (including Portalaxles)

Anyway, enough talking, not much progress, but the beginning is there:

Thanks, So do I ! the more Squarer the Better.

So, it went on, I did some cutting, and cutting, en sanding en gluing-solving. Before the top parts go on, i'll build in some reinforcements first. So now it's like this:

Yep, love that build, brings 2 beautiful things together: Squareness & Dakar !

Made quiet some progress this weekend, went to my LHS to pick up some styrene and continue the building. The box is now more rigid, and the botom is completely closed. Also the nose is almost finished, at least sofar that I can start with the putty. That however will take a little longer, cause I've to reinforce the last section of the Pinz aswell, so I can also apply putty on both sides. There is to much flex inthere at the moment.

Still struggling though, with how i'm gonna make the appearance of the vehicle. Dunno if I'll make a dumped OD army vehicle, or one that has been restored by it's new owners and some changes have been made to it to take it on a long traveltrip. I tend to to the last as it gives me some more freedom to choose a colour and work on the interior.

    The pics:
