Default Radical Custom Hub Wrenches for pennies!

With all these wicked new hubs (lock nut replacments) on the market and the corresponding "special tools" that you need to twist them on and off... you're probably going to want to give this a shot.
It took me an hour to find mine just to make these little wrenches, I know I'm not alone loosing them.

    Materials Needed
    - Key Ring
    - Tamiya Wrenches
    - Those pesky Aluminum Specialty tips
    - Hot Glue or Shoe Goo
    - 15minutes of free time (including making em shiny)

I took 5 minutes on the buffing wheel after drilling the holes (OCD demanded polish) to make em shine. This should help keep them separate from the million other wrenches on the bench. I strung the key ring through to keep them together. I fired up the glue gun and stuck a specialty tool in the end of each.
Now as more options hit the market I can just add to it!

That's an awesome trick Kev. Thanks for sharing. Now I have to find the hub tools I lost. I've been using pliers on my scale hubs lately.

What material are those ABC hubs made from? Do you think there's enough meat to drill and tap them for an 8-32 axle?

They appear to be aluminum, my guess is the affordable stuff.
I just looked and 8/32 rod might even be able to force the thread and have it work, that's how close it is.
