Default Anyone have ideas on painting woodgrain on a lexan body?

Anyone ever do a woodgrain on lexan? I have a 92 Cherokee body on order, and I really want to do a briarwood XJ. Classy look, and it should be an interesting challenge.

If anyone has any ideas on how to do it, let me know.

    Thanks

A good stuff to use for woodgrain on lexan bodies, is that printed sticky paper roll of stuff you can get for lining drawers or whatnot. May be called mactac or something. Not sure what its called but you may know what i mean. Comes in a roll and i got some last at homedepot for cheap. They had a few different woodgrain styles.

Mactac is just a brand of signwriter's vinyl, like Avery etc
Can buy in different prints & metallics, check fleaBay if you have to.

re painting lexan in woodgrain, its not that hard.
Plenty of tutes on youTube for that.

Just to avoid going to complex on my first scale build, the mactac would probably be a good approach.

    Thanks!
