    Default n00b's RC4WD Trail Finder 2

Thanks to the folks at RC4WD for giving me the opportunity to snag one of these kits. Stoked!

Like the others have said, the packaging is pretty awesome.

Lots of kit for the price!

    Look at this thing!

    and this!

Time to build. I'll be back in a bit!

Sweet looking parts! Are those the Yota axles? Is it a Tamiya body or does RC4WD do their own?

Even though you are also a team driver. I am really hoping this is my chance to read an unbiased review of this kit. I am really looking to get a more scale kit for myself and this is at the top of the list.

Alan it comes with Yota axles and from what I have read this is there own body, with more detail then the Tamyia version :)

No prob Kev. So far I'm pretty stoked on it. It's going together very well.

They are cast yota axles. RC4WD made their own. More on that later.

    I think you do too.

Got the tires mounted to the wheels.

Chassis is mostly built. Piece of cake.

I like the fact that every different type of hardware has its own bag with a label. Never built a kit with this much detail.

    Say, question...
You building everything to spec first and modding after?
I'm thinking most will be flipping the front shackles being why I'm asking.

Dude, people are going to be asking you questions all weekend long!

For sure. And lots of little zipper bags to save to keep parts in for later.

Yeah, building to full spec for testing then will tear it down. I'd like to flip the shackles up front to make it more yotie'ish.
