    Question Diff Width?

I think this qualifies for this section. I'm building a Gasser with a differential drive. Currently I have an Axial axle but with the wide tires I have for this build it is a little too wide for the body I have. I either need to cut the fenders more (not feeling it) or raise the back end (not liking that much) or change to a body with a more open fender design.

Has anyone taken the time to measure the different popular axles out there for width from hex to hex? Gear ratio would be cool too.

I don't know the a actual numbers, but TLT is the narrowest except for a semi diff or MRC.

Thank you, good to know. I'm just assembling a CC-01 so I'll compare that diff to the Axial as well.

We should get a full chart together, would be handy for all of us!

mrc axles are 5 1/4 hex pin to hex pin just about 6 1/4 end to end.

Tamiya semi rears are nice and narrow, designed for duallies so you'd have to cut odd a bit of axle.
