Like I said Ferrari Fever has hit the house pretty hard...
This will be my first of two attempts at building a vintage formula car.
It will be based on the 68 Ferrari 312 and the "Somethin" part will be whether or not I'll pull in details from the 66 312, 68 312 BA, 70 312B... just going to freestyle it a little and do a bit of a hybrid.

Much like the 2012, during the chassis build I added the Black Sport Tuned motor, Carbon steering knuckles and aftermarket front springs. Swapping out the rear shock for an aluminum damper mounted below the plate for clearance.
More to come, hope you guys enjoy!

Just digging into the FGX kit tonight Colin to see how it fits under the Lotus and if it's a good solution for the open rear of the chassis. Should have the extra kit for your vintage build in about a week or so doode!

Aside from clearance the geometry seems more efficient doesn't it? You know I'll be knocking for advice on all these F1 details as my official race adviser!

This should be a very coool build
Fingers crossed

This one didn't sell as a partial project last week so I got out the stuff this morning and thought I'd make it look like something.
Man those front wheels make a huge difference in the look and stance of the car!
