What are the best looking tires to put under a Toyota? I kinda like the Iroks, or Pitbull Growlers but what do you guys think?

I don't know much about either but from what I've seen the Pitbulls do they're great tires. My brother also has the pitbull Growlers on his 1:1

Round ones.

Rubber ones?

Growler's are a pre-order, so that's not really in the cards for right now. What looks best is really up to you.

I guess I will probably buy Iroks, I like the look of those!

If you go IROK's, go 1.55's. The 1.9 and 1.7's are way too big.

Yup, I'd go 1.55s, I should compare the tires heights actually...

That's a bit of a problem for me these days.... the heights. I want 1.55 rims (got that) and a tire that's a 32-34 scale tire. All the 1.55 tires out there are something like a 27 inch or a 42 inch. There's basically nothing worth looking at in the 3.25 measured diameter, and that's so dumb. I don't know why no one is making a STOCK tire for our trucks. All my smaller bodied rigs need this size tire to be 'stock' and I can't find them anywhere.. I can cut and glue them, but then they're not legal for class 1.

I'm so agree with you ! I can't find a decent mid-sized tire neither. Mud Trashers, and Rock Crushers are about the only one in that range.

I'm glad, I'm not alone anymore.

And as for "I don't know why no one is making a STOCK tire for our trucks", Pitbull asked the size people wanted for there new 1.55 : http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/tires-wheels/401281-who-wants-1-55-pit-bull-2.html#post3904948

im in with you two...

problem is all the great performing tires are built to class limits leaving us with monster tires...

I wont run a 2.2 pitbull and I LOVE PITBULL! the tires are too big though... ill use there 1.55 growler, but on a 1.9 so it looks proper... its getting to be a pain to find good scale tires.

going to have to start practicing cut and shuts

Even cut and shut'd, it's hard to find a decent tires. They usually end up looking balloony funny wobbly (don't even know what does that mean, but you get the idea).

Have anyone ear about a decent tire to cut and shut to 1.55 ?

I wish pitbull would make a smaller version of the growler. Something around 3.5 or so.

...This.

I just got a set of the 1.9's for Penny, and they are HUGE... I love the tread pattern but they need to be about .75" shorter to look somewhat realistic.

What also confuses me is how come the 1.55 rock stompers look awesome and the 1.9 stompers look like a Picasso painting?

I guess depending on the chassis. These are on my bruiser chassis, but the body was lowered quite a bit.
I really liked my 1.55 stompers

But the 1.7 iroks were really nice too
