so i have an old super bee waiting to be restored, iv never had the time or money to properly work on it but i have always wanted to make a 1/10 copy of the beast. so i got the closest body i could find and now i plan to mod it into a mopar like none before.evil

its a hpi 1970 challenger.. much work to be done, and ignore the wing dont know why i drew it on :huh:

Sweet colour choices! What did I see in the earlier pic, it looked like you cut out the front grille...

yes i cut the grill out to give the lights a more sunken in look, but i slipped with the exact-oh knife a few times... and the same for the rear end to give it the three lights per side to change it from the challenger lights, also tried a paint trick to make the hood look like an old weathered paint job..
does any one know if you can use spray foam on a lexan body and carve it away? (for the grill and rear end)

Looks cool, but something you would absolutely love is a dremel tool. Lots of different ways to mod and cut bodies that come out a whole lot better and not stab yourself with an exacto in da process :)
