Well I was digging threw some stuff and found some brake rotors/calipers from an old hard body I had laying around.
I enlarged the center hole so they press-fit on the ax10 steering nuckle behind the 12mm hex, I also had to remove part of the caliper so the rim will rotate around the brakes without interference.
I think they turned out pretty good, here's a few pics of them on the Recon!

Im also going to run the stock metal axial 12mm hex's and not these narrow tamiya ones like in the pics.

Here's a pic of the rc I robbed them off, I bought it a long time ago at Mopac in langley. It's made by Jada not Maisto, but you might be able to make what you have work :welder:
